06 - Nautilis
Fifth Gigging Band.
Another band with Sandro.
In fact it was a case of him bringing me in to the band.
I believe I was something like the 15th or 16th drummer to grace the throne for Nautilis and unlike Spinal Tap,
none of the preceding drummers self-combusted.
Not suprisingly, statistically speaking that is, I soon became the second last drummer in that illustrious list.
Anyway...We did some gigs and I did enjoy the music. Dug playing with Sandro and the Bass player.
The music was indie pop/rock with female vocals, two guitars, drums and bass.
Not long after my departure my services were once again desired and I rejoined as drummer number 17 or 18 I think.
I was back on board to honour some of the bands obligations such as a demo recording.
Hey, I'd just become a session muso !

I think it was five songs I session muso'ed for them and the demo was called :
'Is it Us ? or do we just Hate Drummers !'.
(I don't think it actually had a title but if it did... it would be a fitting one I reckon
)
I loved it - I *cough* was gifted a re-skinning of my kit, a lovely fibreglass brady it is too.
I also did a couple of gigs for them.
