Naughty Lass
Yes, indeed.
Thanks for the reminder - this band will be easy to flesh out with music files....as I have them
It was only that one 'demo'....oh and of course the 2000 Millimummel (sp?) gig was recorded.
I'll probably only link to the studio stuff for this band unless you have something particularly good that we recorded ?
If you can help with dates for our mutual bands, I'd appreciate that.
Thanks boogieman
Cheers

naught
I have a live recording from some pub in freo, kicking around somewhere. There may be some bits of that which warrant something other that "write-only" status. The start date for Nautilus was around 1998 I think. The end may as well have been 31-12-99. Some other approximate dates, as I recall:Syndrome MkIII 1992 - 1994Undie miners: Active in 1997, perhaps also 1998STS: most active between 2000 - 2006. (Cooby - temporary resting place of the dead - Steel warehouse(s) - Hami Hill. Some earlier 'jams' date back to the chook shed (around 1994). There was also that other cover band thing that never was, involving one of the beat eyes (the rev) and that enthusiastic but not so virtuosic singer/rhythm guitarist. I think it was around 2003.ok thats it I think

History lesson
Thanks heaps Sandro.

BTW You post like a, oh I dont know...scientist boffin or something, I mean just look at it man !.
You'd need some degree just too.....never mind.

Next you'll be looking like Rrrrrrrichard
Have you managed to / bothered to put together the best recordings we did as STS+K ?
I have some but there is always something screwy with them.
I mean, I'm really cooking on a track, with Sash strapped in tight and you'll go and put your guitar out of tune and ruin it !!
OR
Your peeling back the layers of time and space with a mere guitar, entering..nay creating the realm of the gods when
I'll just decide it's time to have some spasmodic twitch in one of my arms or hands,
or my brain gets throttled by my intestines momentarily and I dead-pan resulting in a stumble, hiccup, f***-up
or in the music profession, what is commonly refered to as coitious interruptus !! Not good.
OR
etc...etc..
Even some without Kev ?
Anyway mate thanks alot.

Re: Nautilis @
Somehow the formatting go screwed up - that doesn't help.
Anyway - thanks for the creative adjectives.
Ditto your sentiments about the sts recordings. Some inspired moments, but ...
I did pick off one or two recordings that I still listen to sometimes. If I can't upload on this forum I'll email you one in particular - the live mix is pretty even and the playing is not bad overall. Like most of the recordings I have from this period, the meter shifts around a little bit (not necessarily a bad thing
). I dunno, you might hate it. Still, it's my pick from the Hami Hill days.
I think some of the completely improvised sessions at Carrington St (which had video as well) were better. But that might just be memory playing tricks.
