Re: Progress Blog
Several additions have been made to GTLTool 1.2, they are as follows :
Cars Information Form has changed again and probably will before it is finished.
I think I'll add the best time for the currently selected car for each track, then it will be finished and only the overall Statistics Form to complete.
Ok it's back to the grind...
Cheers
- Added code to allow the Tracks Information Form & the Cars Information Form to be Non-modal.
i.e You can leave these windows open and still get to the main window. Any changes from the main window will be reflected in the Cars and Tracks Info Forms. - Double Clicking a Laptime in the Main Window opens the Cars Information Form at the 'clicked' Car.
Clicking on a Track in the Track Information Form will select that same track in the Main Window.<- removed- Expanded the About Form to contain ALL *recognised bits* - Cars, Tracks & Benchmark Times
- If No GTL folder specified (first GTLTool start-up), GTLTool will display the About info on the Main Window.

Re: Progress Blog
Here is the final Cars Information Form
Screenshot

Statusbar Panels (reading left to right).
The '#' column (left-most) now reflects the order of all columns and not just the names column.
In other words, if you click on the laps column heading to order the data, the '#' column is re-ordered to match the laps column ordering. This is true for all column headings.
Laps, Kms and Tracks column headings are ordered descending (biggest at top, smallest at bottom of list), whilst all other columns are ordered ascending (smallest at top, biggest at bottom).
I am currently working on the Statistics Form which right now, looks like this :

I still need to add the routines for :

Employment interrupts development
Unfortunately, I've been unable to do any programming for the last month or so, as I've become employed again !!
I now drive a forklift at a distribution yard.
Whilst unemployed, I could devote most of my time to writing GTLTool but now I'm just too tired and/or can't find the time.
Having said that, I'm still updating GTLTool with every new track released on nogripracing .
I will, endeavour to devote some time soonish.....
I still have to add the best laptime and car and class to the Track Info Form.
I have added car class to the Cars Info Form and Country to the Tracks Info Form.
Also, I have been working on a race reporting section which may or may not see the next release but certainly the other projected additions mentioned above, will.
